UNF Spiral Flute Taps are designed for precision machine tapping of Unified National Fine (UNF) internal threads, particularly in blind holes where efficient chip evacuation is essential. The spiral flute design lifts chips back out of the hole, reducing the risk of tap breakage while producing clean, accurate threads. Manufactured from high-quality HSS or HSS-E (depending on the product specification), these taps are suitable for CNC machining, milling machines and drill presses. Ideal for threading stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, mild steel, aluminium and other machinable materials, they provide reliable performance for engineering, manufacturing, fabrication and maintenance applications.
