UNC Intermediate Hand Taps
UNC Intermediate Hand Taps are designed for cutting accurate Unified National Coarse (UNC) threads in a wide range of materials. These intermediate or second taps are used as part of a hand tapping set, following a taper tap to gradually produce precise internal threads with reduced cutting load. Manufactured from high-quality HSS for durability and reliable performance, UNC hand taps are suitable for engineering, automotive, fabrication, maintenance and general workshop applications. Ideal for threading steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and other machinable materials, they provide consistent results for thread repair and new thread production.
