Metric Coarse & Fine Bottoming Hand Taps are designed for producing accurate internal threads close to the bottom of blind holes where maximum thread depth is required. With a short lead and minimal taper, bottoming taps are used after taper and intermediate taps to finish threads in blind holes and applications requiring full thread engagement. Available in both metric coarse and metric fine thread pitches, these HSS hand taps are suitable for engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance and workshop applications. Ideal for use in materials including mild steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other machinable materials, they provide reliable thread cutting performance and long service life.
