BSP Bottoming Taps
BSP Bottoming Hand Taps are designed for producing accurate British Standard Pipe (BSP) internal threads to the bottom of blind holes where maximum thread depth is required. With a reduced lead and minimal taper, bottoming taps are used after taper and intermediate taps to complete full-depth threads in applications where thread engagement is critical. Manufactured from high-speed steel (HSS) for durability and consistent cutting performance, BSP hand taps are suitable for engineering, plumbing, fabrication, maintenance and workshop applications. Ideal for threading materials including mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, brass and other machinable metals.
